Between 1971-1975 british troops arrested any and all men between the ages of 18-80 in Belfast that they though were involved with or had ties to any Republican organisations. They jailed thousands of Catholic men, without trial or due process, and held them for years until eventually releasing them without charges in 1975.

Oppression is still present in Ireland. Maybe not to that degree, but the RUC/PSNI still oppress the Catholic/Republican people of Ireland and favour the Protestant/Loyalist people. A woman was arrested by the RUC/PSNI for speaking in Irish. Fck the RUC and the Brits and all of their supporters. Tíocfaidh ár lá!
