The original gallery performance art work Laughing Gas Jack Boxing - recorded to camera and digitally re-boxed: box in box, by the ukARTISTZONE post production team wizard and artist in residence Stef Zelynskyj.
Synopsis: Jack, an artist 'volunteer', is painted sunbed-orange, trapped in a box and uploaded onto the web then downloaded to iPod - to be detained behind virtual 'bars' in cyberspace and lost in Nano. Imprisoned for an indefinite period, Jack appeals to his unseen captors for release from solitary confinement stuck inside the box. His appeals go unanswered and he concludes that he will never escape his fate.
Jack will be left stuck in the box - "for ever and ever and ever" ; until we decide to click on "Remove this video".
"I'm trapped in here inside this box. I can't get out.
Can't see any way out at all. None at all."
In fact I don't think I'll ever get out.
Think I'm always going to be stuck in this box;
Trying to find a way out,
Looking for a way out,
Trying to find a way out,
Hello."
This work is dedicated to all square pegs in round holes.

Excellent art. This art spoke to me in that it represents a mirror of today's society and technology. We all stare at this box (computer, cell phone, tv, whatever) and in essence are trapped forever. The laughter to me, represents all of the noise and data we must filter and digest daily.
Thank you for this artwork
