@marajuana10 In my jurisdiction we are special police officers and are issued badges by the police department. We get paid ridiculously high wages to hang out with kids for a few hours each day. I also get the "educator's discount" at the Apple computer store. I also get a reduced rate on my cell phone for being a municipal employee.
Once I spotted a bank robber twenty minutes after being shown a wanted poster by a cop.
That's pretty cool for not having a "real job."
