{A few days later. Demi is at work.}

Dani: -comes in with a vase full of flowers, a card attatched- For you. -sets it on Demi's desk-

Demi: -looks up as Dani leaves to go into her office. She puts her pen down and smile at the flowers. She took the card out and began to read..-

Hey, Dem.
Hope you don't mind that I got you flowers again.
Call me later. I wanna take you out to dinner soon, remember?
Love, Joe.

Demi: -smiles and tucks the card back. She takes her phone and dials Joe's number, which was already on speed dial-

Joe: -answers the phone- Yo.

Demi: Yo, yo. Waassup, homie?

Joe: -smirks- Demi?

Demi: Whats cracking, dawg?

Joe: -laughs-

Demi: -smiles- So, I just got your card.

Joe: And. . .?

Demi: When are you free for dinner?

Joe: Whoa, you're asking me out? Dude, thats my job.

Demi: Well, dude, you basically asked me out in the card you wrote.

Joe: -smirks- Right. Um, when are you free?

Demi: I just asked you that. You cant ask me since I asked you.

Joe: Fine. I'm free whenever you are.

Demi: You're a meanie that makes no sense.

Joe: -laughs- So when are you free?

Demi: Meanie.

Joe: -whines- Demiii. .

Demi: 5 year old.

Joe: You're the 5 year old.

Demi: -giggles- So, hmm, lets see when I'm free. -opens up her calender- I'm not doing anything tomorrow night.

Joe: Really?

Demi: Yep. Is that okay?

Joe: Thats great! -smiles-

Demi: All I need to do is find a babysitter for Adam and we're good to go.

Joe: I'll ask Kevin and Dani if they could.

Demi: Okay. So, what are you doing?

Joe: I'm at work. On break though. Missing you. And what about you?

Demi: At work. Not on break though. Missing you, too.

{With Joe. When he gets home. . }

Joe: -puts his keys down on the counter and takes off his jacket, hanging it in the closet. He then goes into the kitchen to grab a drink of water. There, Danielle was standing next to the stove, stirring something in a pot and Kevin was sitting down at the table, talking on the phone- Hey, guys.

Dani: Hey, Joe. How was work?

Joe: Ah, same old, same old.

Kevin: -on the phone- Are you serious? Thats huge!

Joe: Who's he talking to?

Dani: Nick. They've been on the phone for a while now.

Joe: Nick? Kevin, gimme the phone! I wanna talk to Nick too!

Kevin: -graons and gives the phone to Joe-

Joe: -into the phone- Whats up, bro? How is the wedding plans going?

Nick: Its going good actually. We're able to pay for it all and probably have it in about 2 to 3 months. Nicole and I cant wait.

Joe: Thats awesome. Just tell us when and we'll all fly down.

Nick: Right. So how are you? Kevin tells me you're working.

Joe: Yup. -smiles goofishy- I'm an expert at making various fruit smoothies.

Nick: -laughs- Good for you. Oh, and Kev also told me that you met a girl.

Joe: Oh.. um, yeah that, too.

Nick: Joe, just be careful.

Joe: What do you mean?

Nick: I just dont want you to get hurt.. or even her to get hurt. A girl's heart is fragile and-

Joe: Thats not going to happen.

Nick: I hope so.

Joe: I think we're really gonna work out.

Nick: Tell me about her.

Joe: We havent really known each other that long. . but she's perfect, Nick. She's everything a guy would ever want. She's funny, smart.. beautiful. I really, really like her.

Nick: Thats awesome. I'm happy for you. Don't ruin it.

Joe: I wont. -smiles- I'm taking her out to dinner tomorrow night.

Nick: Tell me how it goes, alright?

Joe: Mhm. You'd like her if you met her.

Nick: Sure I would.

Joe: I've gotta get going. Did you wanna speak to Kevin again?

Nick: No, I'm fine. I'm actually gonna go help Nicole with dinner.

Joe: Alrighty. I miss you guys.

NIck: You, too. Bye.

Joe: Bye. -hangs up-

{With Demi. At home}

Demi: -calls up the stairs- Adam! Dinner's ready!

Adam: -stops what he was doing and runs down the stairs-

Demi: Mommy made your favorite.

Adam: -smiles, wide- Pizza?!

Demi: Uhh.. No. Your second favorite.

Adam: Spahgetti?

Demi: Yup. -smiles-

Adam: Yes! -runs into the kitchen-

Demi: -laughs and follows after-
