Coffee staining technique and burnt edges tutorial - Day1.wmv

I have been asked to do this tutorial many times but due to time constraint i couldn't do so , now i am compiling all the tutorials that were requested.
This is a very popular method to achieve n antique or aged look for any type of paper you can do this to pattern paper, computer printing paper even card-stock your only limited by your imagination!!

MATERIALS NEEDED
1 tbsp coffee
3 tbsp water
a small bowl for mixing
a paintbrush flat or round but should be more than 8
old newspaper or craft sheet to protect work surface
blow dryer
pattern paper, computer printing paper, card-stock
a tea candle
Nail buffer
steel plate(large)
baby wipe

i wu d suggest u sponge excess liquid off wid a tissue n then iron over it n then repeat till u get desired results wid the texture...

question: if i'm going to write a letter on it (just in normal, green fountain pen ink if it matters) would i do this before or after writing it? i'm worried that the ink will run when i stain it

what if you dont have a hair dryer or anything like that, would you just let it sit there
