Having found out there was a film competition running in our school, I couldn't resist entering.
The competition took its theme from a novel by John Masefield, "The Box of Delights" and we were supposed to build on that title and use our imaginations. The only rules were that it had to be between 30-90 seconds so for the actual competition, I cut of the opening titles.
The categories were: Best animation; Best Documentary; Best foreign language film; best musical and best visual effects.
Guess which I went for!
Oh, and how you're supposed to do a documentary in 90 seconds I'll never no.
I don't think this is one of my best films although I made the whole thing in under 6 hours (including filming) so considering that, its not too bad.
Also, with exams coming up, I don't have a lot of time to do much film work so again, this is another reason why I rushed the film.
All the same, I hope you enjoy it, and as always, constructive feedback is greatly appreciated.

It's like a cross between Doctor Who, Bill and Ted and the original Box of Delights (with the whole 'go swift' thing) which makes it pretty darn awesome.

Thats pretty cool. I was worried you were just going to do a doctor who type thing at the beggining though.

I did consider it ;) But it would have been a bit predictable and corny lol. I do have a doctor who film in mind though but i'm just fine tuning the plot. (Btw, I'll be hopefully making loads of new films soon so feel free to subscribe, i'd like to get the numbers up abit)
