Quick! Let's go on a 4 minute train ride from Summit to New Providence on my digitally powered Rail Diesel Car (RDC) ... perhaps the only one of its kind! (By the way, fingers are sometimes referred to as "digits".) This HO scale layout began as a simple 3 x 4 foot oval of track under our Christmas tree. Now, it stays up all year. While you're here, see if you're "Addicted to Trains or Model Trains" on my channel page, by clicking on the icon or the ibiubuok at the top of this column. Your comments & ratings are welcomed. Thanks for watching and please stop by again!

  • I keep coming back, to see your videos again, I just like the "feel"... nice...

  • @webmoov You've made my day. Thanks so much for your kind words.

  • Nice!

  • @webmoov Thanks for riding along with me and for taking time to comment.

  • this video is really cool, how'd you make the little figures move?

  • @WAYNE1980AA Thanks for hopping aboard my RDC. I got the people to move by stop motion photography--that is, by taking a still photo & moving them about 1/8" toward the door, taking another photo & moving them 1/8" towards the door (over & over & over), 'til they were all aboard--which took about 1 hour. You never see them get INSIDE because black electrical tape is covering the door to make it look like it's opened. I appreciate your taking the time to watch & for your kind words.

  • @TSBYrailroad Wow! Thanks so much for watching & for your kind words. You're right! Because of the various elements of this video--stop motion, live video, pushing & pulling the RDC around with thread--it did take quite a while to make. (And that's me at 1:38 trying to "blend in" with the trees.) Thanks so much. I really appreciate your support. BTW, you keep up the great w0rk too! :-)

  • cool view at 1:38! and LOL 2:19! great video, i can tell it must have took a long time to edit, and add all of the captions. you do a great job on editing. keep posting videos! this is going into my favorites

  • @UnionPacificRules Thanks, Justin! Your taking time to watch & comment means a lot to me! Although you're right, it did take a lot of time to make this video, I was most surprised at the disapproving looks (and questions) I got from nearby folks as I took video at the 2 actual stations. (I won't hold my breath for a thumbs up from them. lol) Thanks a million, Justin! And you too--keep up the great work! :-)
