Informational video for this SX-70 Sonar Polariod Land Camera.

Originally produced in 1972, this Polaroid camera is coming back into style. It's easy and simple to use just as Polaroid has always been. With the instant film it's a touch of a button to instant memories. There are a few things on this camera that people may not know of, and may need to know before wasting their film.

SX-70 film is made for these cameras, so it's suggested to use that film over any of the other instant films. Although with money as a issue, its simpler to find and easier to buy the 600 polariod film. To fit it into the SX-70 landcamera, you have to take a knife to the end of the cartridge and cut off the nudges to fit into the film shot. Once in, before taking a picture make sure to have the light meter all the way to dark otherwise your photo will be overexposed and cause ruin. (Note that sunlight is always the best light for any photo.)

In my opinion, the SX-70 Polariod Land Camera is easily portable and fun. And its always fun to have the ability to have instant pictures at hand.

This camera is also found in Mitchell Davis's video here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpuPYWBHB2g

{I made this video because i've had this camera for a while and could not find a way to put in the 600 film into the camera until i came across a website. once fitting the film into the camera with success, i was overjoyed and wanted to spread the knowledge for anyone who also had the same problem.}
[this video is also all in one take because i do not have HD video editing software so for the best quality it is crucial to have it all in one take without modifying the video at all.]

    I want a classic Polaroid camera for Christmas. Or for my next birthday. Or whenever. I just want that camera.

    The next day, my friend claimed that she had a surprise for me. Guess what it was? Yup! She gave me her SX-70 because she had no use for it!! I LOVE YOU, ALANA!!
