  • What about the politicians though? If a politician said "Vote for me and I'll make sure you get a decent well paid job" shouldn't a person on welfare get the chance to vote for that candidate?

  • Your argument is better suited to forbidding the wealthy from being eligible to participate in the electoral process. Tax benefits for the wealthy and federal contracts to the Military-Industrial Complex dwarf the expense of entitlements and benefit far fewer people. The unfortunate do not inherently forfeit their rights by virtue of their misfortune.

    Abuse is a bad excuse.

"When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -- B. Franklin

  • Welfare should not result in disenfranchisement IT SHOULD DISAPPEARE. Redistribution of wealth on any level is theft. No exceptions.

  • @whatever19535 You can complain all you want, but to me it's ridiculous, because you aren't considering the whole picture.

  • @winstono75 So if you just keep saying that I'm complaining for no reason, then it must be so? I strongly disagree, I can't see why your morality should be superior to mine. You still fail to acknowledge the fact that government officials are creating laws that allow them to steal from hard working people in the name of "equality", which it really isn't. I don't give a sh*t if you think that I have enough money as it is, that's really not for you to decide.

  • @whatever19535 I'm Norwegian myself, so I'm aware of all that. I was talking about the perception of people taking advantage of the disability system.

You're complaining for no reason. Even with all the taxes you have more money to spend than most people in whatever country whose system you favor.

  • @winstono75 "It's not really a problem, it's blown out of proportions"? It IS really a problem, and it is not at all blown out of proportions. Here in Norway I pay 35% income tax on everything I earn, I pay additional 25% Value Added Tax on everything I buy, and if I want to buy a car I pay as much in additional taxes as the car costs. In the local grocery store I pay $4 for one bottle of the cheapest beer, and in the gas station I pay $10 a gallon. Politicians robbing me? Hell yes.

  • @whatever19535 You're talking as if the cheating sick bastards are robbing you of your quality of life. It's not really a problem, it's blown out of proportions.

  • Our government has it set up so blacks collect free money from a society they think hates them, whites have to work to give all there money away to people who they think they should hate. This is America.

  • Welfare is Black and white genocide.
