@Dexterous1989 Intel Pentium is the 5th generation of the x86 architecture. I don't understand what you mean by "Original CPUs"... But yeah probably they're using something that isn't fancy...

i've tried it and it works but i don't have the proper equipment s these guys do
-
send data in CERN then see what will happen, please dont block me people
-
@altgeldrarities you'd get stuck to one of them.
-
It would be fun to walk through there with a one pound Neodymium magnet.
-
well i know, that they have 16 PB of storage (PB for Petabyte, not for lead)
-
Use intel xeon e5345 with motherboard- supermicro x7dbt
-
I see, i wasn't aware that it's a new installation. From what i understand they currently buy mainly Xeon blades, if that answers your question.

Considering this is a BRAND NEW system I HIGHLY doubt they already changed servers without even USING them yet.
-
Like other datacenters, they frequently replace old batches of servers with new ones. So you'll find a mix of various CPUs there, always changing.
What kind os CPUs are they using in those desktops and servers?

They are using original CPUs (I think Itel pentium) because of low price.
