@G4meTesters I have tested both chips and they all run on the right slot(B1).Now since i can't use the 2 of them only 1 (2gb ram) now everything crashes can't play any game without it crash after 2 to 10minutes.Its bad i will go with the pc to them and see if they can fix it if not i will be glad if they returned my old ones back(2 Gb ram (2 chips 1gb each)) evrything to be like before no crashes and things and they to give my money back.

Get a replacement motherboard. Sounds like yours is faulty. When you say it wont boot. Do you mean it wont POST (wont get past the bios and start loading windows) or does it crash with the "Blue screen of death" while loading windows? I highly doubt that windows 7 is to blame.

yeah I don't know about the graphics car either, it just one day stopped working, and I gave up on the set up after that, but yeah for those first 3 or 4 months that I had it running it was great. I think the problem with the graphics card might have been that it just shorted out or something, during the summer last year I think we had a bunch of freak storms that caused the power to shut on and off over a period of 2 or 3 days and I think that cause the vga to die.
Got a problem.I got 2 gigs of ram(2x1) and i wanted to upgrade 4Gb (2x2) DDR2, but only on channel B1 the memory runs and on channel A1(the left one) it doesn't.So i have 2 Gb ram again. The other one i can't use because if i put it in the motherboard it will not boot my pc it will start but no image and never see bios screen and doesn't start windows.Help

@15935715935788224466 one of your ram modules may be unsupported by this motherboard. Check out the website and look for the RAM compatibility list.

I have the m4a78t-e and Im not sure if its the mobo or win7 64 pro but this is the worst rig I have ever owned. USB is broken on it save the mouse and basic printer. Anything else and the rig crashed and then wont boot. Change almost anything in bios and the rig wont boot and have to be reimaged but ONLY AFTER loading setup defaults. Only thing that works is re image. win repair and restore do not work. Cmos reset does not work. Latest bios fixes nothing.

after so many problems I just threw the whole thing in the garbage. there was no fixing it, I didn't want to rma it to have the same specs with the same problems. I went back to my old computer that is still going strong today. amd 4200+ @ 3.0ghz, 4gb ddr2-800, at the time bfg 9800gt oc, recently upgraded to a xfx ati 5770. so far it plays everything but crysis and gta on my 23in lcd at 1920x1080 but that's fine for me. I never really played crysis or gta. I mostly pay the cod series.

Mmm, okay.
The RAM support was fixed through with a new BIOS version. I don't know about the GTX260, how can the motherboard kill the graphics card? Oh well. Good that you have no problems anymore with your current motherboard. If I notice problems with this one, I will tell you. So far no problems.
