"Countdown" contributor Markos Moulitsas, founder of the Daily Kos, analyzes the rapid congressional abandonment of the SOPA and PIPA bills following protests calling attention to how the proposed legislation would endanger Internet freedom. Moulitsas suggests that piracy could be curtailed if providers would make it easier for consumers to pay for content.
