@knowpain00 no no. dont be upset that they embrace their african roots because at one point you RARELY found a Puerto Rican even repping Africa much less Taino. You should instead be glad that the truth is out: Taino, African and Spanish. Dont deny either one or turn it into a race thing because ALL three run in your veins and ALL three shape your culture. Look at the drums they play and the rhythm you all have, that is the African in you but the pride is taino and spanish the language.

@kaleo183rd Don't be stupid, most N Americans are of mixed blood. The world changed exponentially before Christ. The American Indian shows up in DNA tests. African Americans, Europeans, Asians and are not exempt they all check off as white. @Xaymaicana Loiza is just one region, i understand there are black people in PR, but that's just one region. Most PRs do not look like mulattos or africans at all, the vast majority of them are pred caucasian. you should travel to that country to see the diversity many white people live in PR. I know this because i have friends who live there. you should look at their census records, 75% of PR is of spanish origin.
