PREVIOUSLY ON... 'Future Guy'?

Incoming transmission from an alternate 2005 where Enterprise continued...

Having not been seen since The Expanse (and only vaguely referred to during Storm Front, Part II), new viewers would've needed reminding about Future Guy's modus operandi. So here's that recap...

Brannon Braga & Manny Coto (showrunners for ENT) recently appeared at Star Trek VegaCon 2009 during a panel and took questions. They and Rick Berman thought Future Guy was "probably going to be a Romulan" and would tie into the Earth-Romulan War with a member from that race trying to "instigate" that event in pre-Federation history.

They could have done a much better job with the temporal cold war arc. I thought that the Dominion fit the laid out characteristics of being the future people. Maybe a better movie not done my Abrams or a TV show will resolve it.

acually the writers had no idea who or what Future guy was. they dint even have a name ''Future guy'' started as a ridicule by fans because of this. so the story wasnt just not finished there wasnt even a story, and the show ran for 4 years for crying out loud.

This is an intriguing video, it kind of sucked that the whole Future Guy story wasn't finished they said the TCW dragged Enterprise down but an answer would of been nice.

Not bad! Now, if only there were a way that clever editing could essentially put together an episode of Enterprise that would follow after this. Of course, there's always there the other theory, already explored in one new Star Trek edit job, that Future Guy was none other than JJ Abrams. Could JJ Abrams be a Romulan agent? ;)
