OMG, ow, it's like I can feel it...MY EYE!!! ugh, I feel weak. lol

Great video! Way better than the scare tactics ones telling people not to get LASIK done ever. I'm having this done Wednesday and it's nice to see what to expect.

The only pain i experienced was in the eyelids at the start, because your eyes are hold open, but once you stop fighting it, no pain.

do you feel your eyes getting dry???

yes I did, but that's a normal aftermath of the surgery, and it can be long before that stabilize itself. I got prescribed by the surgeon some nice drops for the eyes, don't remember exactly the name, but the drops were very thick (blurred vision one to two minutes after applying them) but they hydrated very well and gave comfort for a long time. I had dried eyes for about 8 months after the operation, but it's not uncommon to have the issue longer, up to 18months I heard.

and during the surgery?

during the surgery, that was fine. I'm pretty sensitive about that, it has always been a problem when I was wearing lenses, I had to hydrate often because my eyes become easily dry. But I did not suffer from any special problem during the surgery.

the cost per eye was indeed high, especially that I targetted a good reputation clinic. Here in Europe the cost goes from little less than 500€ an eye to more than 2000€ an eye. I paid somewhere in the middle of this but I really prefered to pay less for a better guarantee on the practician than risking anything just for a few bucks... and no, mutuels do not cover purely esthetic changes :)

no pain at all, you actually feel nothing. It is just weird when they compress the eye for cutting open the window that you blackout (don't see anymore). For the total time, it is roughly twice the video time (if you do two eyes at once) ~5 mins each eye.
And out of the clinic after a small checkup 15 minutes after the surgery.
Back next morning for checkup, 14/15 on each eye. Back after two weeks for another checkup, 15/15 at both eyes.
