Football vs Central Missouri; The final drive

Down 16-14 with less than two minutes remaining in the game, Northwest makes a desperate offensive drive to set up sophomore Todd Adolf's game-winning field goal to beat Central Missouri 17-16. Prior to this Adolf had never kicked a game-winning field goal in all his entire career as a place kicker.

Because if UCM would have won then they would have upset the 3rd ranked team in the nation and probably knocked us out of the playoffs. And you can't tell me that all the fans for UCM would have just sat there and clapped that their team won....no it does not work like that, it is college football, emotions run wild when playoffs grow closer. So thank you for posting your concern but you have no argument in this situation...you may think you do but you really don't.

Whoa there turbo, calm it down a little bit. I know defeat is a hard thing to take down, I mean you guys basically had it won but your defense just had a lapse in memory and let NW drive down the field. NW didn't even think they were going to win at that point, so when Adolf kicked that field goal to win it, everyone went crazy and rushed the field. And don't give me that crap and say that UCM would not have rushed the field too because you don't know what they would have done.

And another thing how dare you all disrespect our Marching Band. I know it is a football and game and the fans want to be pumped up but it is downright rude what NWMSU did. I'm very proud of our school and I know in my heart we won. Plus the comment that we are "donkeys" maybe some of you should learn what a mule is from your biology teachers. There is a difference between the two animals. Doesn't take a science major to know that fact. GO UCM MULES!

First of all congrats on a "win". However, I like to point out a couple things. One of them being from our view in the stadium the UCM Mules Field Goal Kicks "deemed" not good were clear as daylight good. Second, this is what bothers me the most is the fans disrespect. You do not go storming out onto the field. I WOULD NOT go storming your field at NWMSU. I have something called "RESPECT" unlike the fans of NWMSU seem to have. So congrats, but your fans need to learn RESPECT.

even giving up so much yardage from silly penalties during this game, they still pull out a win. amazing. i don't really think they were even trying this game.
