The truth is it wasn't the banks pressuring the banks to loosen lending standards. It was the government's "affordable housing" risky mortgage policy advocated by left wing community groups that got Congress to corrupt the mortgage GSEs as early as 1992 to loosen their standards for loan quality as the secondary market for the bulk of mortgages that began the building of the housing bubble.

Christian theologian websites are being censored by Jews. A Christian theologian that wrote about the deeds of Pharasees, Talmudist priests, in Israel during Christ's days, had his page shut down.

Let's not forget it was a Republican controlled Congress fanned the flames of financial collapse.

"It's entertaining to blame people and look to the past, but it doesn't do anything for the future." IT DOES EVERYTHING FOR THE FUTURE! If you prosecute the ones liable for the mortgage disaster, then the next group of crooks will think twice about destroying an entire economy. Don't think for a second the banks didn't know what they were doing. Any child with a calculator can figure it out.

You're trying to side on one end of the political spectrum where as I say they're all worthless scum.

@IrreverentEnigma administration has been fighting for deregulation for all of the time that it has been in office. Davis, served as head of the very lobbying group that fought to protect Fannie and Freddie from the kind of regulation.
Treasury Secretary, Phil Gramm is also linked. He pushed through the legislation to deregulate Fannie and Freddie, resulting in trillions of dollars in profits for their lobbyists.
GOP controlled Congress 2000-2006. The GOP deregulation policies have caused this

@IrreverentEnigma you most definitely don't get your point. I suggest you stop watching fake "news" source like Fox. the CRA required Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to purchase and securitize mortgages and to devote a percentage of their lending to support affordable housing. 85% of subprime mortgages who defaulted were from private lenders
Rick Davis, McCain's campaign manager, served as president of an advocacy group led by Fannie & Freddie. He lobbied hard for those entities. The Bush administ
It wasn't the Banks! It was the Unicorns!
