Goths and Emos frighten authorities

Rebellious teenagers groups, known as Goths and Emos, are a popular part of the city's youth sub culture. But their trademark make-up and piercing are causing concern for the authorities. A bill has been put to Russia's State Duma aimed at curbing what is described as dangerous adolescent trends.

This video offends me. Firstly goth and emo are different. 'Just slaves to fashion?' No, it a lifestyle. 'A rite of passage?' Try telling that to elder goths or people like me who have been goth since I was 9 and 9 years later still, it isn't going to change. Wish those allowed to report to the masses actually knew their shit.

@DreiofGlamnation666 I dont know if goth is about rebellion necasserily.... it can be though(the whole post-punk movement). Emo circles round rebellion more i would have thought. Teens rebel. Emo, teens=Rebel! :L . So many different types of goth... So many different attitudes :) The same dark humour runs through us all I think. And damn right goth should be encouraged! Most of them are well cultured and genuinely good people. Otherwise they give the culture in itself a bad name really :)

Im gonna pretend i never seen this video, my life seemed less stressful 3 minutes ago... Grouping goths and emos thigither... what are they playing at! I think youll find...na wait a minute...** U will never find an emo who isnt still going through teenage phases! Goth however is a lifestyle suited to all ages *majority being 18+ as most times before that tends to be a rebellious phase and has nothing to do with goth most of the time. 'abbeyism' there were no goths in that video! I agree :)
