The samples in this song are used brilliantly.

this band, song, are amazing. if you dont like it, i can only say, its your loss. go listen to avenged 7fold or something. we'll keep the creativity.

Actually, it seems very well-matched with the song to me.
I think the dancing nudes represent "all of the beautiful bodies", and they're carelessly fooling around in a thunderstorm.
Meanwhile, there's the "family pets", "belly up" as test subjects, perhaps as an allegory for what'll happen to the people... and of course the pigs, the earthquake drills, the Nazi warplanes and the "Door to Heaven" are pretty easy to figure out.

Absolutely fantastic! Clyde Peterson is a very talented director and editor and the paperchase are a hell of a band. Genuinely disturbing at places, and manages to keep a great pace through a very long and twisty song. Well done all around.

yep!

The Paper Chase is fucking amazing. Johns voice demands emotional response.

I have listened to just about every Paper chase CD there is (aside from Ctrl, alt, delete U) and this is possibly the BEST CD ever!
I freaking love all of the songs on this one.. No filler just great music.
The one thing I do hate though is this freaking video!! So many things could have been done better in it.. I did love the ending with the making of hotdogs and how it mended well with the song.
The starting kind of blowed and made me think we had a boob fetish going on!

Just because you were so willing to share your opinion I'll share mine. Darkest Hour is awesome, but Obituary sounds like crap, plus there singer looks and sounds like Weird Al Yankovic with laryngitis.

Keep your negative comments to yourself, asshole. And get your ears checked.
