@Lphatton1956 OF COURSE THERE ARE REPUTABLE BREEDERS! Not once did I ever say that all breeders were to blame. Reputable breeders never sell to pet stores and actually care about their animals. I think you took something away from my comment that I did not even say. The fact is MOST pet stores get their puppies from puppy mills and they will tell you anything you want to hear so if you want to BUY A PUPPY you should never go to a pet store! Puppy mills =/= breeders. They are different.

@ppachi2 really? How many breeding facilities and distrubuters have YOU been too?? I can tell you I have traveled 1000's upon 1000's of miles, and there are GREAT breeders who are good people out there who sell to pet stores have YOU ever BEEN to a puppy mill? How many USDA breeder reports have you read ??? Do the world a favor and get your head out of the sand and do something about substandard puppy breeding - but dont lump all pet stores and breeders together - youre a short sighted biggot!

@lphatton It seems like YOU are the one who needs to get educated since you seem to know nothing about where these puppies come from. Their parents are forced to breed over and over again and each litter comes with temperament and health problems. Please look up a video of puppy mill dogs and I am sure you will agree that it's cruel, also.

@lphatton it's a fact that animals from a pet store all have bad health. But it's all from the inside so you won't ever see it. But chinchilla for example when they sell them how sure are you that they didn't cross two white once or two velvet once together. Because that is like mixing a brother and sister and that is whit all these animals all have health problems and the once that sell the animals know absolutely nothing about animals. They just sell it for money for nothing more

They are cute. But you should feel sorry for their mothers. I recommend googling for articles linking Petland to puppy mills, and if you don't know what a puppy mill is I recommend youtubing that. quick and easy and a good eye-openner for anyone wanting a pet.
