I'm doing something new for a change. I know that this type of video has been done before by other people. But, I want to change up on the type of videos that I do. And if I get a good reception out of this, I may make more of these in the future.

Anyways, this video is me giving out a news article I've read about Warner Bros announcing the director for the american Death Note movie. Here is the link to the article.

  • Hmmm...I liked Speed Racer, I thought it was top-notch. Staying away from DB: Evolution because I think it will be too painful to watch. Oh, the whole it being his first time for psychological stuff....not exactly true as Mel Gibson's character in the first Lethal Weapon has a mental breakdown and how he somewhat copes with it in the movie. I hope this movie does good so that more ppl would be open into investigating the giant world manga and anime.

  • @jcdranzer25 I never saw the Lethal Weapon movies. So, I wouldn't know anything psychological that was in those movies, let alone experience it.

  • @GeekCritic89 Well let's just say Shane Black has experience in writing stories about odd ball detectives so he could be able to direct L around easily. And he did write the screenplay for monster squad so he has experience in the supernatural elements of filmmaking. Its also made by WB who finnanced both speed racer, and the japanese live action death notes as well. So you got both experience in Genre as well as past experienced filmmaker. Now all we have to do is hope they don't fuck it up.

  • only christophe nolan could direct this movie

  • @jcdranzer25 I personally don't really care about Death Note and much rather interested in James Cameron in doing his much talked about rendition of the first volume of Battle Angel Alita, it would be soooooooooooooo AMAZING!

  • Being as how he does like Death Note and how he's worked on good movies, I think there's hope for this film, but you do make a good point.

  • Yeah you should continue this video series.

Also I don't see much purpose behind a Death Note live actrion because there already 3. But I still have some faith in the director because it does mention in the article how he actually read the original source material.

  • oh dear

  • I say it could be bad but let's see what happens.

  • Well to me, I don't know how it's gonna work.
