I've started renting ACR Resqlinks, BCA Tracker 2, ACR Aqualinks, etc by the day/week/month. Cheaper than buying for only 1 or 2 trips.

Cost has always been a deterrent, but I've seen people renting them on ebay for only a couple of bucks a day. Maybe a better option for the random trip. If its reputable I guess
