Fight The HST_BC Stands Up part 1

Feb. 26 2011 Fight the HST Rally / Taxation without representation: The Struggle to hold Out of Control Government Accountable to it's Citizens Continues. Over taxed, under represented, mistreated, ignored, lied to: Fed up citizens demand a change in a system which taxpayers have lost control of. Sounds just like where you live, Right? Things are getting so bad these days that actual lying seems to be standard procedure it that is what it takes to achieve corporate goal. Nothing new perhaps, but now they do it and smile as if "what are you going to do about it sucker".
People in Canada are loosing control of their own country & the HST issue is just a symptom or a far greater threat to all Citizens "Out of Control Government", who seems to be selling our country to foreign interest groups to recover losses due to their lavish spending habits "On Things" not services to the taxpaying public. Their deficit goes through the roof, they often pay themselves outrageous wages and expense accounts: loose millions here and millions there, mostly on things the public did not want in the first place: Then they cut back everything the average person depends upon / Medical services / Schools / social services / funding for the arts / government grants. Bankrupt our public utilities, destroy our environment, sell our rivers and water to foreign interests / turn beautiful lakes into Toxic drain pits for mining companies who often sell our resources to foreign interests / cut our forests / pollute out rivers, lakes and watersheds so foreign interests can reap the benefits. Hello Canadians, we are loosing all which was so beautiful about our great country. Does no longer look like the Great White North to a lot of citizens we meet? Where have our morals and high standards of conduct gone to. Has slavery been reinvented with chains replaced by bank notes and dollar bills? People are so tied up trying to make ends meet with the never ending price increase increases "from All directions" they can not afford to resist.. If they took the time off to protest they could not meet payments and loose everything they have worked so hard for. Their Home / their car, all their furnishings (probably mostly owned by the banks anyway) which could be taken away at the drop of a hat.. People Power is needed to correct this situation of reality being stranger than science fiction these days: Thank you Nocv Scotia for exposing some of the rats in your wood pile. I am quite sure there is many more everywhere but just have not need caught yet: You never know, we just might discover a few here in BC at some point in time ?

The message in the video was to point out the HST Issue is just a small symptom of a far greater problem. Sure it is costly to keep the boat from sinking. The problem is how they spend our money & lack of respect for truthfulness.. If we let lying become a normal accepted procedure to achieve goals, then the system will self destruct. Anyone who approves of elected officials lying is only part of the problem, not part of the solution / checkmate?

Thanks for the comment ThisBoyTV; Yes I know, it is a complete fools game they have us playing, there area lot of good things happening at times and not everything they do is bad. However, we the people are basically just a tax commodity to be used to achieve corporate goals. The system is completely out of control and people should stand up and do something about it, NOW.. Not just leave it to get worse for future generations. The whole system needs a radical change, not just a new face.

doesn't matter who is in office the whole system is corrupt and the left and right both work for the same boss, foreign banks and they will keep robbing the people until the end of time. next time you go to vote just right on ballot.... NO CONFIDENCE.

You are absolutely correct / agree 139% The entire system of government was setup so if we play by the politically correct rules, we loose. The Party running for office should have all their plans laid out clearly, including their budget. When they get elected it should be as if we are hiring their services as outlined in the contract. We never find out what they are going to do until after we elect them, They then don't listen to what you want and tax you into slavery for generations.

I only ask you to consider the following when it comes to any Canadian politician. Why should any of them do what it best for us when the give their Oath of Allegiance to the Queen Elizabeth II and her heirs? There is no mention of Canada or Canadians in their oath at all levels of government and our judicial system.

This is what happening in Canada and to us it sounds insane as people living here! We have very few answers and many questions why won’t some one do right the thing stand up for the Canadian people for once!

Pause before u type. If they made an Oath of Allegiance to Canadians then we could do such things as recall them or take them or court for fraudulent promises. We could even have a referendum on any new or imposed taxes. Try taking that to the Queen of England.

@ganjaking187 The money,it really is the root of all evil,whether people believe in Jesus or not,he had something there when he kicked the money lenders from the temple. Yet people who do believe and who are supposedly in the majority of this world and that includes Islam btw as they also believe that Jesus was an important prophet.Yet our world runs on this money for nothing principle,no wonder we are in this mess.But lets get back to politics and the sheer uselessness of it, lol !

Doesn't matter who the pledge is to,the Americans don't pledge to the Queen,yet they are best buds in the running of world affairs with the UK.Why oh why do people still think upper-level politicians have ANY say whatsoever.They are puppets of MONEY and the people who are the real movers and shakers in this world.This is why so many campaign promises are broken, Money=Power I was never good in Maths but that one I get very well ;)

@sunflowerofpeace if you look at every nations government they all run on the same left right paradigm to keep people fighting against each other instead of fighting against the real enemy which is countries not printing there own money. when nations can print there own money instead of borrowing it with interest they will be free from the criminals who run this world. I have never seen the point of voting myself as it does not make a difference who is in power, the machine just keeps on rolling,plus as a landed immigrant I can't vote anyway.I laugh at all the bickering of people about parties,they are just more dividers to keep the sheeple busy.

Look, I have watched Blair Lekstrom go from mayor to MP.I have met Jay Hill many times when he came to our functions,like Trade Fair opening etc. These are people like you or me they want the best for their families,friends and neighbours too don't they? The Reform party was born because the people were fed up.Now all they can do is bitch and complain.World politics is even more fickle,lots of backscratching going on.Point is,the system is run on money.Those who govern reflect society,sad&true.

What last year would have cost our customer $434.00 now costs them $448.00 BUT from what I have read I don't see what the big to do is all about.As a small business owner this really does simplify bookkeeping and it gets rid of other txs like the Hotel tx.Alot of people I talked to before this came in were not against it per se www2.news.gov.bc.ca/news_relea­ses_2009-2013/2010FIN0018-0003­46.htm Who is against the HST and why? And who is this man speaking,is he running for election?
