On December 5th 2009, we held our 2nd Annual Slot Car Time Attack competition at the Hertiage School Xmas Fair in Limassol, Cyprus. The event was a great success, with the track bringing in a total of €164 to put towards new shade awnings and books for the school. The Fair as a whole raised around €900, which is just fantastic.

@urano70 - I would look on Ebay. The track pieces are just Scalextric Classic RMS pieces (one regular and one multi-lane) which can be had for about £5 each. Be sure to get the necessary serial cable with it, as this is what connects the track to the computer. I use the Yascart software which natively supports RMS, and is free. The laptop screen is then duplicated to the "Jumbotron" so racers can see their own times.

There is a club in York. Maybe you could pop along and introduce yourself. You might find somebody there willing to help you out.
