Goodbye to the internet and what it's like to get shot in a relatable form - music. I may come back, but not for a long time.

I apologize for ever complaining about being famous and still unable to sustain myself. It is something I mostly brought upon myself. Me and the teargas canister.

  • Hmm, I really like your ending thought. Well done.

  • The people who do like selling art don't like making it, which is why they don't appreciate the effort of those who make it. But the lifelessness of the efforts of those who can successfully make what they sell speaks for itself.

Years ago I was frustrated with "activism incorporated" and its tendency to use people and throw them away, but I realized it's just another "institution" that requires the problems it 'represents' to perpetuate to keep the revenue coming in.

  • :( Hurry back..

  • I think you're all sorts of awesome...not to mention beautiful in which way. Best wishes in your next endeavor. Thanks for being an inspiration.

  • It is probably impossible to be an artist of any kind and be totally immune to outside opinion. Still, be yourself. Consider other opinions, and consider their source, especially on the internet, and then take the criticism or leave it. In the end, you have to live with yourself, whatever you do. If you're satisfied with the outcome, the process, and/or the learning experience, then the thoughts of others don't matter so much.

  • Emily, don't dwell on this shit because you could end up with permanent psychological damage. Israel are terroists and thugs, the only reason the US 'care' about them is a strategic hold in the middle east. They're not worth wasting mental energy on. Don't take prozac btw, it's more likely to make you self harm than cure depression. America are just as guilty for Palestinian oppression, have you ever thought of moving to Canada? It's a much saner place.

  • Take care, and keep it all up, on your terms. A good year to you.

  • I was impressed with your video as always. Take care.

  • That was great, the statement you made at the end. Your singing wasn't half bad either. :)
