**There are 5 heating settings on the iron (1-5, 410F degrees max). I had it set almost to 5. It's best to use some kind of heat protectant beforehand. I used John Freida Thermal Protection Hair Serum after I got out of the shower.

**Since I didn't use hairspray, I had to touch up a little bit when I filmed the intro (at least 5 hours after I made the tutorial). That's why I may have looked a bit different in the beginning and end of the video =]
