Man that is really tooooo fast! There should be some sort of mechanical compensation to adjust the pitch.
Some of the old record changers and a couple of tape recorders that I had as a kid were fast like this. Ironically, I bought an old changer from eBay (have a video) that ran true to pitch out of the box! (it was nearly 50 year old NOS). I am blessed (or cursed) with near perfect pitch, and have used nothing but quartz locked PLL direct driven turntables and tape decks for years now.

this is the way kids did it in the good old days on there parents stereo systems when the mom and dad's were not home.

This takes me back! You said it plays it fast. My old turntable played records a semitone higher.
