Romanian soprano Virginia Zeani sings "Vien diletto" from Bellini's "I Puritani" (Elvira's mad scene) at Rome (I'm not sure). I have no further details (year, stage partners, etc).
When Zeani sings, partners are extraneous and irrelevant!!! Is this a soprano, or a Roumanian Nightingale? Beyond Bel Canto, this is sheer warbling! Quelle voce, Zeani! Brava, cara Diva!

Puritani has recently become my favorite opera, and have long been a Zeani lover, so imagine my delight upon finding this clip!
