"The Phalanx"

After Emad found the video of Dewey Sleetlemeyer and his "Launcher", we decided that we were going to try it.

We used 11,000 bottle rockets, a couple of fountains, and 4 M-80's to create what we call The Phalanx.

The video doesn't even do it justice, you really had to be there but for those of you who weren't watch the video.

Towards the end you can see a huge fireball emerging. Just to see how big it really was, watch for the guy running in and dumping water on it.

Next year we are going to try something even bigger, plans are in the works.

Im curious where are you guys from in the states cause i live in canada and i only hear accents likes yours in movies, lol

And how much does that many bottle rockets cost, i think there illegal in canada,

although i havent touched any kind of fireworks since i blew up my hand. Was using old 50. shells from wwii and got high one night and next thing i know boom! I never touched em since.

Ha ha what do we sound like? Hillbillies? We're from Kansas City. I think total we spent about $80. It might have been a little more, I don't remember. We're gonna try and make a bigger one next year.

i respect your guys work and the fact that you went all out with 11000 bottle rockets but for starters those rockets seemed kinda week,

at first i thought oh shit this is gonna be crazy but it wasnt really,

try taking the powder from 1000 screecheroos and filling a basketball and wrapping 56 rolls of duct tape around it with a 2 foot wick.

that blew a four foot deep hole in the ground and took out half the sidewalk with it, we felt the shock wave from a black away. try it sometime.

Well we'll have to try that. That sounds pretty badass. Unfortunately this video does not do "The Phalanx" justice. I was way more intense than the video depicts. Plus it was shot from about 100 yards away. Next year we will make a bigger one. An hour after we put this up somebody put one up using 80,000 bottle rockets and pretty much put ours to shame.
