This beehive on the South Lawn is a first for the White House. The busy bees pollinate the kitchen garden, flora all over Washington and provide honey for the White House kitchen. "White House honey ale" was served at the President's Superbowl Party in January. This is the first time that beer was produced at bottled at the White House.
