Tell me what you're doing on Friday night
I was kind of hoping you'd say
"8 o Clock's just fine"

Seems to me you're playing hard to get
I played it cool kid once myself
It's my only regret

See the way you move when you think I'm near
I want it just the same as you
So bring it over here

And I love the way you act all shy
Making out me and you kissing in your bedroom
Is the last thing on your mind

Baby, are you all alone tonight?
I could come around
And eat you up
Have you got some wine to wash it down with?

Baby, you're kind of guy who likes to watch girls beg
Well I'm begging you
I'm begging you
Please
Please, oh please, oh please

All the girls wanna hang with you
I read it in the Musical Express
How could you be so cruel

I've held your records to my breast
I've worn your face across my
chest

Baby, are you all alone tonight?
I could come around and eat you up
Have you got some wine to wash it down with?

Baby you're the kind who likes to hear girls beg
Well I'm begging you
I'm begging you
Please
Please, oh please, oh please

I'm crying all the time
I need some good advice
Sometimes I call you late at night
And deeply down the line
I whisper sweet obscenities
Tell me how it feels
I'll call you up again tonight
Just to interrupt your meal

Oh I just can't stop
You know I tried so hard but I'm not a rock
So you can call the doctors
Or you can call the cops
Tell them to stroll on down to the record shop
Oh come on

Baby, are you alone tonight...

  • Thanks for this: your committed stabilising & centring of the camera has helped capture the charisma of the singer and the essence of the song, despite the limitations of the sound recording of the cameras all us punters are stuck with at the moment. Well done again and this is a real find.
