Not sure how it's a joke

A lot of people have 5 million worth of stuff...if you add up house, cars, boats, vacation homes, ect...

Very few have 5 million CASH in the bank. That could be considered rich I guess.

PS - Getting rich is not hard. It's simple. You MUST build your OWN business.

Being an employee will NEVER get you wealthy.

Instead of complaining about how he is out of touch...why not stop bitching and start your own business and you will see how easy it is.

I would have said $1-2 million a year would make you rich. But you need to remember John McCain has $100 million, $5 million a year is a drop in the ocean to him and also if he makes $6 million a year then if he were to say that $1 million a year was rich it would make his own income look grossly high.

I am getting sick and tired of everyone whining about the middle class. If you are in the middle class, guess what you put yourself there. If you are in the upperclass, congratulations you have worked to get there. Now here comes Obama saying hey middle class you dont have to pay as much tax. DO you know where the rest comes from, the upperclass. Why should anyone get taxed on working harder and having a higher education. It does not make any sense. Lets just throw Obama in green tights.

1. democrats can't take a joke or are so desperate as to take a joke out of context to attack their opponents.

2. democrats believe everyone in the US is looking for a handout, which is why they appeal to the worst in people and peddle 'freebees' (ie take from some people and give it to others. they, of course, get to decide who's worthy)
