Name's The Same Mickey Mantle 26 May 1953

Mickey Mantle makes an appearance on ABC-TV's "The Name's The Same", May 26, 1953. A sort of low-rent version of "What's My Line?", The Name's The Same's celebrity portion of the programs were always kind of phony and never more so than here. It's pretty obvious poor Mickey hardly knows who Prince Phillip is. It's equally obvious, in these celebrity portions, that the person that the celebrity "wants to be" was picked by the producers for humorous effect and also either as a plug for an upcoming movie or personal appearance by the celebrity, or an upcoming newsworthy event, in this case the coronation, within the next week, of Queen Elizabeth of the UK.
