nkosi sikeleli afrika means god bless africa in xhosa I think. I hear "nkosi" in there so it could be xhosa. Reminds me of songs I heard in Zulu though.

zulu, xhosa are similar, children could be singing in either language.

This kind of thing is the what I remember from my short visit to South Africa.
The kids look all bored like this is a normal every day thing when they sing. If only they knew : )
