Arrangement with 3 times my voice, plus other 3 times in the background. I also added a 12 string guitar.

  • I agree with greenbelter. Less is more. This is a fantastic song. Your piano playing is good though. Can't you just post a simple version? This is way over the top and it all clashes. Do something simple. This song doesn't need so much dressing up. It's beautiful in itself.

  • I may agree with you. I always try to upload songs that are different from the originals, otherwise I prefer to listen .... to the original!

I have a DVD with this beatiful song with 2 voices (Henley and Hornsby), so I put also the 3rd voice. It's true that with such a structure of the melody it was too challenging.

Don't worry, if you want I'll put a 12 voices arrangement (all the notes of the keyboard). Thank you for your comments.

    Riccardo.

  • music is good....but one voice would have been better!

  • im really sorry, but im used to the original, and i think this sounds awful, especially the voices

  • This is fantastic; you've done a great and refreshing take on the song, for the more adventurous listeners out there. Really appreciate it.

  • Höre dich immer wieder gerne . Auch mit den Seiteninstrumenten ist es schön zuzuhören und das immer wieder. Mach doch wieder ein Neues Klavierstück. Super und Danke.

  • Hört sich wunderbar an. Danke patmet1

  • your voice is good, but your back vocals sound pretty bad. I agree with what Colorado and what Backbeat mentioned. Keep it clean on the solo parts and have the back vocals for the chorus only.

Pretty neat way to do it though. Its look hard to sing and record something like that at the same time to get it all in sync.

  • I think your harmonies actually make it hard to decipher the lyrics. Perhaps if you'd dropped down a key they'd be clearer. In any case, your "add one voice" theory actually added two voices to the verses, as Henley sang them solo. Just two on the verses and three on the choruses might have been clearer.

But what do I know? I'm just this guy.

  • hey, very nice, though i would prefer less voice, still a great job. I really love the piano style and somehow i imagine Jeff Lynne playing his signature guitar strumming.
