I'm a Dem... but after reading what you wrote, I had to comment. It is McCain*, no E at the end. Also Hofstra is in NYC and if you think NYC has hicks, then you have serious issues.

Guess it depends on who's driving. :^P I usually make it to the tunnel in about an hour from the middle of Suffolk... Just saying.
Agreed, "hicks" could be found just about anywhere I suppose.

Hofstra is not in NYC. It's in Long Island, NY. Not the city.

True but it's only about 25 minutes from NYC and there still aren't any hicks. Oddly, a couple of towns over is called Hicksville. :P No hicks there either. Go figure.
