2009 Burns Supper at The Plough pub, Ley Green, Hertfordshire. The Burns celebration is an annual event at The Plough. Appropriate that a pub so named should hold an event in honour of Scotland's legendary "Ploughman Poet".

The Address to the Haggis delivered, as always, in fine style by Mr Kenny George.

Haggis itself delivered by chef Lino.

Kenny, a stout defender of Scottish tradition and culture, has an impressive repertoire of Burns work committed to memory and will recite a full 'Tam O'Shanter' when adequately lubricated.

I'll post some clips of the other speeches from the evening over the next couple of days.

It was, and always is, a most excellent evening. Thanks to all who organised and attended.
