Dwarf Fortress : Goblin Attack!

They killed 15 of my dwarves last time they attacked, this time I was ready. Unfortunately, they shot my sheriff (///_-), and broke another dwarf's leg. Music is "I My Me Mine" by Polysics.

I like to think of it as an extremely advanced 2D version of Minecraft.

For my fortress defense, I dig a moat, then put a long bridge over it. then I dig under the bridge about 10 stories, and place upright stakes at the bottom of the pit. Then, you just hook the bridge up to a lever, and when the gobbies attack, you set "Pull the lever" to repeat. Then you just train a few archers to take care of any lucky ones that make it across.
