The oil companies already have 68 million acres offshore leased that is not being drilled. Record profits ring any bells? The oil companies already have more than enough sources. They drill a calculated amount to maximum their profits. They don't give a shit about lowering gasoline prices.

Company profits? Moron, aren't you aware that we are paying $4 a gallon and rising in an economy based for the foreseeable future entirely ON OIL!? How about giving $1.3 trillion to the Gulf region thus funding the terrorists as well!? China is drilling off the coasts of Florida you dip shit! Brazil is already self-sufficient and found the biggest oil reserves in 30 years just off our coasts in the Atlantic, the oil WILL BE DUG either by us or by others, only we can do it better. Get a clue!

America is not oil, America is not Corporations. To ban drilling would not put caribou above the US, but animal conservation above company profits... The US has lost it's conscience.
