  • chuck norris trained under a korean master ! TKD FOR 5 YEARS. how else did he get he's kicks, it wasn't from karate !

  • I love everyone who supports TKD especially people that knows how to implement into street fights, I got my first poom when I was 11 hard ass dedication , for all you asshats who don't know what it is; it is 1st Dan (degree) black belt but for people under 16. And everyone who is going with MT need to stop underestimating TKD fighters sure MT is close and mid range striking moves, but have you ever been hit with a defensive "fancy kick" ( which is happening in this commercial) one twist when th

  • @AdamisSoKool kicking is the main way of attacking. You're balance is just as important as your technique (more focus on leg techniques and balance). Overall, obviously I think taekwondo is a better art for kicking (it is the main focus and has proved that its speed is superior) though I do feel that we would benefit more with a hybrid form of taekwondo roundhouse kicks using the shins as a striking surface vs the instep.

  • @AdamisSoKool I don't think taekwondo's main advantage over MT is its power. Muay Thai practitioners use the shin, which is obviously a better striking surface than we use in taekwondo as it doesn't give as easily to pressure and is one solid bone. MT also strikes in such a way that they throw their whole body into the kick. Though, I do feel taekwondo has many advantages. The point sparring allows for fast reflexes and good timing. Not to mention in taekwondo

  • Martial Arts is beautiful. No matter what style you practice, each one has something about them to guide you to a higher realization of reality itself. It transforms, mind, body and soul making you better then you was before.

  • by the power of sweatshop i knock you down !!!

  • @ttam142 Yes I know, I did TKD for 2 years, and doing Muay Thai right now, sorry I forget what this conversation is about. I don't even remember what I said in the first place.

  • @DawgFL not my point. i meant different kicks as in the technique for a muay thai round kick compared to taekwondo for example are completely different. kicks look similar but theyre not. what people are giving tkd credit for is not just their kicks, but the way they kick and how they use their kicks.

  • @ttam142 Yes they are all "different" kicks, but EVERYONE kicks differently!

  • @DawgFL the schools and their masters that allied and formed modern tkd are much older than 100 years old. tkd is basically an accumulation of many east asian martial arts(most notably karate) fused with what remained of korean martial arts. tkd also completely changed the dynamics of all its kicks using chambers, different foot positioning, combinations, stances, etc. you also need to recognize that for example a round kick in karate, muay thai, and taekwondo are all different

  • I LOVe ttKDDD

  • @PastTheEventHorizon my troll game is is strugglin i admit, i really should retire
