Why Do We Need "Sarah's Law"

Shows govt. police state to which we are heading if parent's right-to-know continues to erode. (NO BUDGET, rushed entry in "Sarah's Law" contest to make a 60 sec. commercial + 15 sec. credits.)

I researched this for a school project. This is an idiotic law. The same law USED to be in Minnesota, do you know what lengths girls will go to, to not have to dissapoint their parents? That means ALOT of girls have ended up killing themselves trying to self-abort or get an illegal abortion. They don't even think of ABUSIVE parents. If a child has a good relationship with their parent they would tell them about the abortion.

@tashaunaaa Actually, the suicide rate is higher for girls/women who abort than for those who carry their babies to term. Studies have shown childbirth confers a protective influence on a woman's emotions, keeping them from suicidal depression. Post partum depression is newsworthy because it is so rare, and even less frequently does it lead to attempted suicide.

For every two people who enter an abortion clinic, only one comes out alive. The child ALWAYS dies, if the abortion is successful. Sometimes the mother dies, too. This would have been horrific when I was a teen, but DEATH is the preferred solution for this sick society's problems, now. We have a culture of death, thanks to the left.

A minor can't even receive a shot of penicillin either, abortion is the only thing they can do without parent notification.

Reproductive health care laws are there to protect minors but as a parent it is your responsibility to TALK TO YOUR CHILD and guide them especially before and during puberty. Prop 4 is just another attempt to limit access to reproductive rights and abortion rights to young and older women. the question shouldn't be why she had an abortion at such and early age the question should be are parents and the community getting the right tools to properly inform their kids about sex and sexuality?

Your thinking skills are so poor that you should not be allowed to vote if you think that, because a person is a parent, that person knows nothing about being a teenager! Do u think parents just pop into existence? I lived in an abusive home as a teen. Prop 4 had provisions for teens from abusive homes.

I can't believe the HIPOCRACY here in CA!

U cant get a tattoo, ears pierced, or take an Asprin at school, but U can get a "morning after pill" from Planned Parenthood!!?? Or even worse; A surgical abortion!? How would u know how to help your child heal & recover if u have no clue & shes to ashamed to tell u (or being threatened by the one who impregnated her!) This is INSANE. This has NOTHING to do with a womans right to choose. Unless she is LEGALLY AN ADULT WOMAN!!!
