@tryhardnoob Thanks. I drive a fwd and track it pretty regularly in HPDE and Time Attack competition for about the last 3yrs now. A good splitter and a properly constructed wing on the rear go a Long way in turning good lap times. So much more speed can be carried into the corners, especially on those long sweepers.
-
@rhythmnsmoke nicely put sir
-
@tryhardnoob Yes you are wrong on that. A spoiler is not a RWD only application or benefits just that layout. A spoiler is for vehicle stability period. When you are on the track and you enter a sweeper or turn and you steep on the brakes...weight transfers to the front Of the car regardless of What wheels you are using for power. The rear end becomes light, reducing rear grip. This transfer will cause oversteer in any car that has been properly set up. Spoiler is for stability on the rear

@rhythmnsmoke im pretty sure having a spoiler on the back of a fwd car is still pointless. the main point of a spoiler is to keep the rear wheels of the car planted through the turns. and since fwd cars tend to understeer anyway im not sure its actually helping.. iono, i might be wrong on that

@DeltaTaco Like everyone has mentioned to you, this one is RWD car since it's a drift car....Even if it was a FWD, wings work on the race track regardless of drivetrain.
