This guy is lieing. Embryotic invetro stemm cells do not come for a real embryo in the mother. It comes from a test tube that will have the extra ones flushed down the toilet anyhow. They have to be less than an 8 cell mass.That;s 3 divisions of the cell, after that it is useless.  And thousands are of cells are needed. Bush let them use the 10 that are left from 20 years ago. The churches are stopping the research. Jesus kills !

rau - You are half right. The Ten Commandments does not say Thou Shalt Not Kill. It says Thou Shalt (do) murder. Two different things.

Hello .. i m a Italian i dont know what taht is..i will take a look thank you.. But let me say that the ten commandaments or any religiuos issues should not be used in science or civil issues, im atheist and if we would listen to religion nowday we woulndt have surgery,discovered america,give women rights or other medical procedures, Thank you for replying anyway

max - RDV, The Dickey Amendment came after the roe v. wade decision(legalizing abortion in the U.S.A.) Many members of Congress were concerned with the probable scientific use(research)of aborted human fetuses. Knowing this concern The Department of Health, Education and Welfare initiated a moratorium on any funding of research using human fetuses or living embryos.

max - sorry ~ mas,,,Dickey Amendment, Sec 510.(a) None of the funds made available in this act may be used for: 1) the creation of a human embryo or embryos for research purposes; or 2) research in which a human embryho or embryos are destroyed, discarded, or knowingly subjected to risk of injury or death for greater than that allowed for research on fetuses in utero under 45 CFR 46.2089(a)(2) etc.
