OH and I know full well the King James version is one of the translations especially since I mentioned it more than once in repeated posts. Try reading all of what is posted.

You aren't listening are you. The hebrew words for thou shalt not kill and thou shalt not murder ARE THE SAME. Both are right but as for which is intendend that is anyones guess unless you have a time machine to go back and ask them.

The King Version is one of the translations. You need to go back to when this commandment was written. It is very clear ,,, It does not say kill it says Murder.

There are at least 30 different translations of the bible. There are even 3 different translations that call themselves the King James version. So again which version. The hebrew for though shalt not murder can also be translated as though shalt not kill so depending on which translation. I own a copy of the New international version and it does say murder but I was raised on the King James version so that is what I know best.

Olstar - The correct translation is not KILL,,, It is MURDER. And the Bible is the translated version. Hope that answered your question

Guess it depends on the translation. My king james version says thou shalt not kill but it could easily be a mistranslation. Of course yours could be the mistranslation to.

This guy is lieing. Embryotic invetro stemm cells do not come for a real embryo in the mother. It comes from a test tube that will have the extra ones flushed down the toilet anyhow. They have to be less than an 8 cell mass.That;s 3 divisions of the cell, after that it is useless. And thousands are of cells are needed. Bush let them use the 10 that are left from 20 years ago. The churches are stopping the research. Jesus kills !

max - sorry ~ mas,,,Dickey Amendment, Sec 510.(a) None of the funds made available in this act may be used for: 1) the creation of a human embryo or embryos for research purposes; or 2) research in which a human embryho or embryos are destroyed, discarded, or knowingly subjected to risk of injury or death for greater than that allowed for research on fetuses in utero under 45 CFR 46.2089(a)(2) etc.
