"Michael" by Shashi Light

I wrote this song a few days after my good friend, Michael, passed on, in September, 2007. He never judged or criticized anyone. He was an amazing musician and soulful player. He could always make me laugh - and still does. I hope you get a feel for his unique, childlike approach to life thru my song.

I hope you are still singin' and playin', you're original songs are great, " yer a natural."

I say stick to yer own stuff, you have a great voice, a wonderful Joni guitar style and great stage presence. Are you "sure" you don't have native american blood in you ? hahaha. I do, but it's a very small amount. I think it's just my left foot up to mid-calf.

@shashilight - Now that you mention it, sometimes just before a rain storm my left foot starts dancing all on it's own causing me to spin in a circle upon my right foot..., sometimes until I pass out. Depending on where and when this happens it can be quite embarrassing I tell ya'. ;o)
