Despite vehement denials that he has no interest in a controversial home redevelopment project in Greenwich, Sean Dunne and wife Gayle Killilea Dunne were spotted on the Belle Haven property with contractors Friday, April 8, 2011.

Dunne's neighbors are up in arms over the scope of the project at 38 Bush Ave., which was bought for $2 million last April in the same patrician enclave that is home to Diana Ross and at least two billionaires.

With the economy in tatters in his homeland, the man who fancied himself as the Donald Trump of Ireland recalled for a new life across the pond in late 2010.

Dunne left behind what news reports have characterized as a portfolio of sour real estate investments and distressed loans that were transferred off the books of leading banks to a government-run repository known as the National Asset Management Agency.

NAMA has a history of seizing developers' assets.
