So I just read an article on Yahoo about Yosemite and someone made a comment about FEMA camps in California. This is the first I heard of it, these FEMA camps, not sure what it means and if this should be a cause of alarm. Any suggestions on getting info? This sounds like a conspiracy theory.

I've just heard about this today for the first time, and I've seen a couple angry posts of people complaining that their area is their home/business and is not a "FEMA camp". I don't contend this view, or wish to impose it true, but lets think: Does it take long to set up fences? No. Fences don't stop people, fear does. Guns kill fast. Faster than a man can scale a fence. These locations may be picked for AREA, not architecture which could be built in days. Question: Area w/ manageability?Or no?

Well, Congratulations! You've managed to label our local cattle auction barn/feedlot as a FEMA camp up at Tulelake!

And to think we're still keeping and selling cows there. We'll get rid of 'em ASAP. But we're awfully short on law enforcement, and it's been a long time since we've even seen anyone in a military uniform up here, so I guess we'll have to send out for some.

Send new barbwire, the old stuff wore out years ago! Sure would be fun to have a hummy to play with...hint, hint.

@YPUK0PALMY Terminal Island stores a lot of our weapons. I'm not certain of "camp status" there, but there is a big camp in El Monte California. It's very scary to look at.
