Diana Trask, born 1940 in Australia, was one of the first Aussies to break through into American country mainstream. She enjoyed 18 hits on the c&w charts between 1968 and 1981 (her first albums were released in the early 60s). Her biggest hit came in 1974 with the title song of her fine LP "Lean It All On Me" peaking at # 13 on the c&w charts. It is a beautiful ballad both powerful and sensitive. She had a couple of hits afterwards, took a break from recording in the late 70s and returned to the business in 1981. She later returned to Australia, before her quiet retirement from the music industry.
Beautiful song & artist, thank you for sharing

My favorite song by Diana is "There Has To Be a Loser". I hope it will be posted soon. She is a great entertainer.

A song that I listened to in high school that I liked and thought was lost forever. It sure brings back memories.
