Bundeswehr showing me the G36 rifle

This was during our Schutzenschnur qualification with the Germans. This soldier was attempting to explain the weapon sights in English for me. Luckily I know German. :D

As a patriotic Asian American. No matter what H&K is my top brand/manufacturer of weaponry. I love US made weaponry but IMO H&K leads the way of innovative firearms. Hell, even tanks. geez man. lol

Dammit I want my H&K XM8. H&K can resolve issues in a matter of weeks or few months and it'll be even better than before. But damn bro. Not cool for the gun being canceled. Imagine if the H&K XM8 was configured to fire 5.56x45, 6.5 and 6.8x43mm ammo? You got yourself a kickass carbine right there too

@LilATL94 H&K doesn't produce tanks, but they do make nice Handguns. What about the H&K 416? It seems to be a decent gun, too.

For the Leopard2 it is Krauss-Maffei-Wegmann, and the main gun is from Rheinmetall. The M1 Abrams also uses a (less powerful) Rheinmetall main gun.

When you are shooting the G36, its simply like an extension to your forefinger. You take the rifle, you immediatly feel comfortable with it, you take your aim within a blink of an eye, you pull your trigger and hit the target. Its that easy, and this is why the G36 is a perfect weapon. Everybody who has ever fired a rifle can hit a target with it.

The red dot visor was groundbreaking, when first commissioned with the G36. The combination with the 3x scope is still unequalled.
