eBay store name was SunDevilDVD. Doesn't look like a fansub source, or could it? Anyway, might have been a Taiwan or HK job since there are Chinese subs encoded also.

From on eBay, box sleeve japanese, has "fx" logo art on d back bottom corner. Wouldn't say was piss-poor, it's just they use different terms look like, i.e. opening dogfight after splash 1st Mig, wingman's calling "Mayday, Mayday..." but sub says "Help, Help, I've been caught!" Subs in Chinese available also. R U using "proper races" for ur voice talents?

You probably got AnimeJunkies fansub then if it isn't spot on, they do rush jobs with piss poor translations. I've only completed the first episode, 2-5 wont be done until 08 since I'm working on other things.

How far along are you in your dub project? I've a subtitled copy, but the translations aren't spot-on and it's annoying...like when they're obviously saying, "Skull Leader" but the subs write something else.

Based on what I know, "Shadow Chronicles" takes place after the "New Generation/Mospeada" timeline of "Robotech." "Chronicles" is centered around the return of the R.E.F. (and Scott Bernard) to Earth. So, in its own way, this is a sequel to "The Sentinels." But really, to get that story, you have to read the Mckinney novels.

It'd be nice if this picked up from where the opening of the animated Sentinels left off (though I read the books- good stuff). Despite flaws, I think imperfect Robotech is better than no Robotech.
