@consumerj It is all private right of way, but what would make it not friendly is when people play stupid by cutting in front of the streetcar. Cutting in front of a streetcar or any train is not a right. It's just playing stupid.

The location of the street car during the Olympic is not on the city street. I would not want the rails on the city street. It's ugly, bumpy and it would not be car freindly.
